Hammerkop Wildlife Safaris was not created from afar. Our roots are in Africa—in a childhood shaped by Uganda's landscapes and wildlife, a lifetime of travelling across the continent, and the experience of building and operating Kasenyi Safari Camp beside Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda.

Kasenyi taught us that the most memorable safaris are about more than an itinerary. They are about the people who welcome you, the landscapes you discover, unexpected encounters with wildlife, and the feeling of becoming connected to a place.
Hammerkop grew from that experience. After years of welcoming travellers to Kasenyi Safari Camp, we wanted to take the same personal knowledge, African hospitality and sense of place beyond Uganda—creating journeys across some of Africa's most remarkable destinations.
